Just had a bizzare conversation with a possible venue for after my mum in law's funeral.
Finger buffet, £30 per person! The main courses on the à la carte menu only averages £20. Must be a mistake, I'm going in there tomorrow to clarify.

Seen that sort of pricing for buffets. I was told it was because it’s more labour intensive to put together. It might well be but the cost of ingredients is cheaper, surely…

Got a parking fine in the post today
I’ve also got a Ringo receipt covering the time I was parked.
Now I’ve got to appeal the fine.
I’ve got half a mind to just ignore it and then produce the evidence further down the line, before it gets heavy

The wiper blades on my wifes Mini needed changing. She passes that job to me so cue Youtube videos. Looked simple enough.
30 minutes of cursing later, I drive the 40 metres across the road to the mechanic who services both of our cars. I look both annoyed and pitiful, asked him to put them on for me. He had a little chuckle, 5 seconds to fit each blade. I still don't know what he did differently to me but they both eased on without effort. He did try to appease me with 'I have done a few of these before' but I still left feeling suitably inadequate
. At least those blades should see out the car now.

Clean the outside of your car glass with Rain X glass cleaner. Leaves the outside glass smear free and clean but also the rain will blow off making it much easier to see.
