Random Irritations

Fair do's.

Though....there is an H.Samuel in Oxford Circus just up from Selfridges that do welded bracelets...or would that be more like an American Golf fitting compared to a Precision Golf fitting?

As you say though....the price isn't extortionate in the slightest and yeah.....as you say our ladies are worth it....probably more than what we realise sometimes.
Astrid and Miu in Selfridges are a better quality than the Samuel’s ones we looked when we got my oldest daughter one earlier in the year, told Mrs M to get it then but she didn’t want to take away from my daughters gift at time. (The American Golf & Precision golf actually spot on for comparison)

Plus the piercing she had done there so is going back to have them change it due to how delicate a location it is inside the ear. So she trusts them and knows the quality, it’s a little more than Samuel’s but if she’s happy I’m happy 😊 like you say definitely worth it more than we often realise or acknowledge!! Don’t tell her I said that 😉

Nope
You’ve heard it right. It cannot be removed without breaking the links in the chain. It’s very small and delicate I’m not really sure why’s that’s bonkers or shocking.
I guess it's just that the concept of jewelry that cannot be taken off sounds weird to me. But I'm old and don't understand a lot of things the younger generations do.

People being offended about folk making light hearted remarks about the foibles of their "other halves."

Donna could come on here and provide plenty of similar content about mine, and me hers.

Take it how it's meant. A site with a vast majority of women would be the same, but about the blokes. But of course that's not sexist, its humour. 🙄
Over use of the word offended.

The response was probably as lighthearted as the comments and no offense was mentioned.

The flow of arctic air has reached southern Spain. 16*, and the long trousers are on… Looks like we’ll only get into the low 20’s a couple of days in the next week.

Not happy, although we’d already planned a few nothing days after a busy week.

The very conversation I had with someone yesterday. “Why do people go nuclear so quickly?”
Kind of highlights my point in the golf irritation thread a week or so ago when I advocated talk those people who’ve done wrong with kindness in the initial instance otherwise you’ve nowhere to go with escalation. Plus going full turbo straight away leaves you in a precarious position with what may come back your way.

Yet so many were adamant that’s not how you treat people who’ve done wrong on a golf course you have to hang draw and quarter immediately. Yet They wonder why a lot of people think so many golfers are self entitled knobs 🤣 fortunately the few sensible amongst everyone here saw the point I was making.

Treat people kindly they’ll often apologise and admit their wrong doing. If they become agitated then escalate slowly. But we live in a society these days where everyone is professionally offended by everything so they fly off the deep end and wonder it’s all gone to 💩

Scammers on social media that are watching uber eats complaints on social media then sending messages pretending to Customer services and trying to get people to download Lemfi app so they can get money from your account

Blimey, long trousers at 16°!
I'm in shorts regardless throughout winter.
I'm one of a handful of players who out bravado each other.
On a practical level you don't get mud splattered trousers up to the groin, just muddy shins.
(My excuse is that my wife says I'm dead from the waist down anyway)

Nothing wrong with Bazball, it's the players inability to read a game and situation.
Without Bazball, or rather playing an entertaining aggressive style of play, test cricket was on a spiral down to non-existance. But knowing when to throw the bat and when to let it go is obviously the lesson they all skipped.

Great, just lose the majority of games from good positions by playing unnecessarily aggressive and brainless shots, absolutely superb stuff 👏
Either the coach is instructing them to go balls to the wall 100% of the time or like you say, they aren’t listening to them. It’s the 1st one for me 🤔

Looks like a few tiles have moved judging by how wet the garage is. Not a flood but enough to need to get it fixed.
Absolutely hate having to look around for tradies to come out. Look at reviews, how do you know they're legit, no reviews, must be rubbish. Complete lottery. And how much should it even cost, could quote me anything.

Disaster has struck. She Who Must Be Obeyed’s hairdresser has just announced that she is retiring and leaving the area after Christmas. The world has apparently ended.
You do know the average woman has a longer relationship with their hairdresser than with their husband.
Sadly, there are so many who start up doing it for peanuts that the expeirienced and good hairdressers give up and either retire or do something else becuase they aren't making money.
