Fillet steak, relatively tasteless cut of beef. Far better options out there.

I might argue about it being tasteless but I agree there are better cuts out there. Just like in the U.K., fillet over here is the most expensive cut but I’ve found that when fillet isn’t on the menu, other cuts at least as good if not better.
 
We have a few farm shops with restaurants in the area & they’re raking it in.
Cannon hall farm (which features on a Channel 5 show) have cracked it.
You can pay to walk around the farm,indoor & outdoor kids play area,cafe,restaurant.
Absolute gold mine.
They don’t have to worry about the price of wheat.
Love it there when we go back up to visit family. Great breakfast as well
 
Scorching hot griddle, each side for maybe 3 or 4 minutes depending on thickness then rest for 10 minutes. I season them with SPG now (salt pepper and garlic) which I made myself, just gives them an extra ounce of flavour from just pure salt.

Similar for me, but love a reverse sear with a big steak on the bbq.
