Just got my handicap transfered to the new cub but its coming up on HDID as an Away handicap even though i'm only a member of the one club.

So how do I get it set as my home club? do I just need to speak with handicao sec?

Yeah I've changed my home club and i;m also just a member of the one club but its showing as 8/AWAY so don't know if its a HDID thing or something my club need to address

Pretty sure it is something your club has to do in that case

You need to speak to your handicap secretary and make sure he's aware that the new club is your home club. He may have set you up as an away player. Has your membership at your old club actually ended or is there still a little time left ? If you've still got a month or so to run there you need to tell them you are transferring home status to the other club.

It's a simple task to sort out. HDID will only take the info that the club has input into its own database when setting you up on Club2000 at the new club.

The problem may arise if your old club has neglected to remove you from their handicap list. What happens is that you are batted between one club and another until the old club sorts things out. As soon as your old club updates to CDH with your name and number still on their list, you revert to being a Home member there. When your new club updates, he becomes Home member there. And so on and so on.
