Puttenham Day before H4H 4th September

Well they just went the other way a few months ago, if you didn't know. It used to be temp bans, now they just have warnings and then a permanent ban. Probably easier to keep track of. Anyway, this isn't the topic for that so we should leave it there.

On topic: I've pencilled this in but I'm 50-50 at the moment so I won't stick my name down yet.

I spent last week or so looking to arrange an additional round for H4H.
Have managed to get us the afternoon at Puttenham from 1330 for £55 (this includes prize money as collecting in the day is a ball ache)!

Realistically i think we can handle 40 or so, maybe a few more if we don’t stick @Liverpoolphil and his camera out first.

This is open to all, and being posited simultaneously here and on whatsapp.

£25 to be paid by April 1st.
Balance to be settled by 1st August.

will also look to renew the two day team event, which I’ll post in the arrange a game thread shortly.

I think it’s appropriate to say that any decision to issue a warning is not taken lightly, whether the recipient is an occasional poster, regular, or if they are fully involved in arranging a meet.

But it’s also pertinent to add that the mere fact that someone is going to huge lengths to arrange an event like this for the benefit of others DOES NOT entitle them to breach GM’s forum guidelines. Allowing that creates a multi-tier system where some members are allowed to get away with more than others. That cannot be right.

So, please, no further discussion is to take place either here or elsewhere regarding the rights or wrongs of someone being banned. The moderation team cannot and will not discuss individual cases.

I understand the decision has been made that this meet will go ahead. Let’s just leave it at that please.
