How long does your purple patch usually last?
i've just reached the end of mine after an astounding 6 weeks.

back to the pro next week to work out what nonsense i'm doing with my swing...guess its overthinking, but my ball striking is stinking!

Mine normally lasts until the next important comp, then disappears on the 3rd hole

MIne only gets as far as a muddy brown..............

Had one that lasted a month or so this time last year - that's when I got sliced to 5.....

Yes this is my big problem now. My pro says I have good posture, great grip but have to work on my ball striking. Going to do lots of exercises like hitting tees from the ground as struggling to get low enough. Still waiting for my purple patch yet.

Normally a couple of weeks. At the moment hitting the ball beautifully. Unfortunately my chipping and a putts not dropping are stopping my next Purple Patch

Usually for a week to 10 days, or however long I go between rounds.

I'm a great golfer away from the course - never hit a bad shot.
