Whilst many here (me included) celebrated the Fitzpatricks antics, there were some grumbles on some sites about whether it was right for a non member to receive a 2+ year exemption from a team event.
I see Alex has taken up membership and goes straight into this week's 'signature event' !
Might be a few more grumbles from the rank & file ...
At least he'll play 4 days.

I get what people are saying but everyone knows the rules before the season starts.
It’s a bit like the play offs in football no one thinks it’s particularly fair but it adds to the excitement and interest in it.

It's only those that grumble that don't think it's "fair". It is what they have stated.
