Professional Golf 2024 & 2025

My fantasy pics for Vegas are

Rahm
Hatton
Reed
Casey

Hard to predict without knowing much about the course.

Who are you picking ?
I've also done Rahm & Hatton, last week too. My other two this time are Gooch and Burmester. Bland is on the bench but it doesn't matter really since I probably won't remember to make a sub.

That Vegas course appears to have houses down both sides of every hole. I would break a lot of windows!

Reminds me a little of a course we used to play in Spain - Alicante Golf Club. When they go to the overhead shots you can see the players must be crossing roads regularly to get from one section of holes to get another.

Not a good day for my boy Rahmbo but still -2, 5 shots of the lead.

Needs to go low tomorrow.

Notable from the young kid Caleb Surrat - 4

So many players within 3 shots of the lead

Just watching the round up show just now. Was very surprised to hear the driving range at the course isn't long enough to use driver at.

I don't get how nobody noticed he wasn't there warming up or anything. What was his caddie doing??

Yeah - that's a good point. These golfers often talk about "my team" - you'd think there'd be an itinerary in place that has been discussed... "be at the course by 7, assess weather, range at 7.45 etc.."
Surely that's the minimum you'd expect from guys competing for multi million dollar purses.

Coincidentally I was talking to a lad who'd caddied a bit in the US this week, he was telling me that when people WD from events, it's often cos they know the drugs testers are on site - and they don't want to risk a negative test. That's probably not the case here of course, but it does seem a little bit odd. Mind you - Rory nearly did the same thing at a Ryder Cup.... 😂

The Majesticks need relegating entirely man, such an uncompetitive team

How bout them Rangegoats though! Whole team is up there

Definitely more to it than he just slept in. As you say, there's so much detail behind their process for tournaments that simply missing your tee time must be almost impossible. These guys are normally thinking about warming up two hours in advance or something.

Majesticks are totally hamstrung by their shared ownership. All 3 of them struggle to get into the top half of the field - it was the same last year and there's more strength in depth this year - as well as the additional players showing some decent early form you've got to factor in that player moving teams might help them pick up as well - as we've seen with Mathew Wolff yesterday - but it's still early days.
Westwoods captaincy protected him last year, but he really needs to step down at the end of this year if his form remains the same.
