I have been using the TM Burner TP which is a solid feeling 3 piece and so I am getting the best of most worlds. They are cheap too http://www.best4balls.com/taylormade-burner-golf-balls-p-1309.html Its giving me decent distance, stops well and isn't too firm off the putter or wedges. It isn't the same as a Pro V or any of the premium balls but at the moment there seems very little point using those when everything sticks on the green anyway. Come the firmer conditions in Spring and Summer and the dynamic of the Pro V comes into its own with the way it'll bite on the hard greens.
