Pleased with todays performance

Played in appalling wind today. Drove awfully but very pleased overall as I managed to hold my own with 3 other guys, the highest of whoms handicap was 9 so for a relative beginner like me it was great.

Looking forward to my next game already.

It was so strange as the guys from the forum who saw me in action would struggle to believe just how bad I actually drove the ball.

Was a real scramblers performance and seeing as they played me off 18 in the stableford, to score 16 points off 11 holes was pleasing. If I had been off my predicted h/cap of 23-25 I would have romped it.

Weather pending I may go out for 11 after work tonight.

Well done MWJ - also glad to hear the wind is not just affecting Wales! It takes a lot of patience to play in those conditions. When will this cold easterly pack it in, eh?
