Not like that fella. Where is the kite and the wind he is using to propel him?

He is using his legs and their relationship to the ground. Therefore, he is stationary, just like anyone jogging on a treadmill
No difference If it’s his legs giving him forward motion or the wind pulling him along…

How fast is this car going…

Very much a difference.

But, I shall leave it there, and just accept some understand it, and others never will.

Probably why the teaser works so well. People get so focused on the treadmill and it's speed relative to plane, they completely ignore the method of how a plane is propelled forwards. It is why the same teaser doesn't use a runner or a car, as it is no longer a teaser

"They" think that because obviously it will.

That you think otherwise as a functioning human being is mind-boggling.
Steady on old chap.
Doesn't matter what each or any of us think.
You've been doing very well presenting your side, let others present their side.
This is a debate - and a very good one - gets us all thinking - we are all allowed to have our thoughts.
I have tried very hard to not take sides. I said from the start that I did not want to kill the thread.

I really enjoy reading other's thoughts on an issue like this. The ones that are very different from mine are the most interesting.
Reading the ones that are the same as mine is as interesting as talking to myself.

Wrong.
It's not a debate on ethics such as capital punishment where there can be equally valid opinions on both sides.
This is about very very simple facts, two different views are not necessarily equal and some of the stuff spouted has been absolutely staggering in it's stupidity.

Hang on , are you suggesting a plane landing at 180 mph on a runway travelling toward it at 180mph will suddenly stop 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

That's equally as bizarre as suggesting that a 747 doing 180mph on a conveyor belt in still air can levitate and instantaneously achieve that as an airspeed to maintain flight.

The latter of those has not been suggested, only the first one.
