It's obviously yes, but I'm surprised how many try and argue otherwise.
With the information given, nothing is obvious at all.
As far as we know, the speed could be 5mph.

And as above, there's no air resistance so even if it was quick enough there wouldn't be any lift.
 
I'm surprised that the general view seems to be no.
I mean if it used it wheels like a car then maybe but.....

How does an aeroplane get it's forward momentum.
