Dr Who

No, I am another.

I was already a teenager by then and, not surprisingly, dismissed it then as a kids programme.

Since then I have had no interest in revisiting my decision and getting very annoyed by BBC promoting it as something it isn't.
Pardon me asking, but how can you make a decision on something you haven't seen?

I remember the first Doctor, I may well have watched the 1st episode (my dad always called it Silly Who), I do still enjoy watching the show and enjoyed all the different Doctors.

I was just 5yrs & 1mth when the first episode aired. The cyber men would see me behind the sofa. I wouldn’t say I was a fanatic about it but it was always on if it was being shown. I think Tom Baker was the last dr I really watched. I’ve watched an odd one since but only if there’s been very little else worth watching.

Bearing in mind the quality of cgi now, the Beeb just don’t spend enough on for it not to look like it’s been made as a Blue Peter project, all fairy liquid bottles and gaffer tape.

Dr Who is a big money spinner for the BBC. It's sold all over. Also bear in mind the new series, Inc Christmas special, is made in conjunction with Disney now. Money for effects really isn't a problem now.
