Samsung S6810 Galaxy fame

Nokia Lumia 620

Bill, Going by that choice of devices, you use it more as a phone than internet/camera device?

I cant stand windows 8 but on spec alone the lumia 620 is the strongest device. If you were able to get something like a galaxy ace 2 or similar, you would have a better overall experience with them, as I said though, only if you use more features than just the mobile phone side of things.

Thanks Brendy, looking for something that its possible to download apps and maybe browse the internet with etc , & maybe ease myself into the more "useable/technical" smartphone ... checking emails and maybe looking up the forum would also be handy

Your bang on when you say i use it more as a phone tho , and when the newish novelty wears off it would be 80% phone 20% novelty .. or at least i think it would ..

Choice is mainly determined by cost tho mate , im not into phones enought to be spending €300 or more & am not going on contract

Thanks

Depends on the Budget but I've got the lumia 920 and love it does more than my iPhone 4s ever did. The camera is the nuts and speed it runs at superb.

The Mrs has the small version in the 820 again phone spec is superb and gets it for £25 a month

If you haven't got a phone yet I'm going to throw a curve ball after one of the ads on here reminded me.

Check out Huawei phones. I got a cheap android phone for work and it's really really good for £50. Similar construction to the HTC One

The higher end phones are supposed to be excellent and I think they were the first to do the dust and waterproof thing that features with the Sony Xperias. They actually are surprisingly big but only starting to break into the western markets.
