Not sure if this has be mentioned before and i know that he is still trying to find form after injury at the start of the season but i see he dates that Pollyanne Bird from channel 5s Gadget show. what a babe she is perhaps he is spending all his free time on her and not on the practice ground this could also be rorys problem with his game. i know when i was younger golf was my life until i discovered the female species and alchol and that ruined my game for a while. im not sure what the cure is.can they mix business with pleasure

You and me both. I stayed that way until a couple of years ago when I finally settled with a level-headed girl (who actually encouraged me to get back into golf!!)

I think with Paul casey it is more the injury than the star spangled distractions Rory seems to have succumbed to. He admitted to rushing back earlier on on the year.

I'd give up golf too!

Her lumps are much much better than the Himalayas putting green at St Andrews!!!!

Can't say I've ever been a fan of Casey. Seems to come across as arrogant a lot of the time. better for british golf if he was still on form though.

The injury seems to be the main reason for his drop off in form but unfortunately a lot of sportsmen never fully recover after a serious injury like that.

Casey's priorities are all wrong and have been a for a couple of years. He has the potential to be a huge player and world top 5 player, but prefers to spend more time doing stupid risky hobbies. Skatebaording, mountain biking, snowbaording etc are crazy when you earn your living playing golf. Its his choice though, but a silly one.

He had a rib injury at Wenworth a couple of years ago, and then another big injury straight after that. he came back too soon and was in trouble again and then missed out on his nailed on RC place last time. He just went off mountain biking and forgot about golf. He then came back and got himself up in the world rankings again, only to go snowboarding and do himself damage again.

He obviously doesn't need the money and sees golf as a means to an end, so his hard luck and probably our hard luck, because on his day he's one of the best, but will probably be a has been before too long.

yes in the ryder cups of 2006 / 2008 you could see him playing in the team for years, and now he's nowhere near. fair enough he's been injured, but surely the snowboarding wasn't the smartest idea just after you've lost your US tour card.

how much $ has that snowboarding fall cost him in lost earnings etc. trumpet.

Totally disagree, Casey was "everyone's" favourite to take the 2010 Open against an unfancied South African. Casey wilted big style and got his backside handed to him on a plate by a much better player than him. A player who has gone on to do so much more than him.

Casey had potential that's all.
