Well lads I told you to watch this space.....We had the meeting on Thursday night about our appeal and the full council voted in our favour. The unfortunate thing is now even they voted for us we still cant return to the club until Monday, as the captain wants to sit us down and have a chat with us. We were found not quilty and we have lost out on 3 weeks golf because of lies and another committee giving us harsh treatment.
I'm happy that the council voted in our favour but I'm upset that we have to wait until Monday. I bet we won't get an apology. 3 weekends lost.

The only advice I can offer is smile graciously, nod in the right places and look forward rather than back. I don't know what time off you have over Christmas but at least if you are off you get the chance to play/practice.

Sadly a lot of committees (not all mind) are made up by wannabe's. They think if they aren't good enough to make an impression at a club through their golf they will get noticed thruogh their actions at committee level.

I have been at a number of clubs where ludicrous and unthought motions have been passed as a way of being seen to be making changes which then take an age to rescind (and meanwhile continue to get peoples backs up).

Hope you can put this behind you at last though

It's the GM Forum's own little Christmas Miracle!

Well done Clubchamp.

May the offenders Yuletide logs fall from the fire and burn their houses down!

Save your pi$$ ups for the pub from now on!

Clearly the Captain wants to give you each a bottle of Scotch, and wish you a merry Christmas in person. No hard feelings.
