Hi All

Just thought id post my best score yet on the local 9 hole!

After 7 holes I was 1 under! Then managed to bogey and double bogey but my best score yet +2 for 9 holes

All that practice is paying off.

Interesting point that I was quite relaxed and not really trying and it all fell into place

No coincidence that I played my best golf at the Macmillan Longest day with HTL, Pieman and HawkeyeMS. No pressure other than time constraints and a need to keep moving. Hit it, find it and hit it again. I never shot lower than 32 points for four rounds and even managed 39 teeing of at 4.30am. Relaxed, out for some fun and no swing thoughts or scorecard pressure.

Its taken me a year though to learn I dont need to smash its brains out every shot for it to go far

Cheeky sod - Im nearer 60 and can get past 250 regularly (in 3 shots)

I'm 50 and i hit it further than when i was 18. Mind you wooden drivers were a bit shorter than the current ones ! Getting all nostalgic now for the good old days !!
