One wish

The greenstaff at my course do a sterling job on the course. My only gripe/wish is that they gave a lot of the trees and shrubbery a bit of attention.
A lot seem just too overgrown........and they're getting bigger all the time.

1. twilight comps, either roll-ups or drawn

and 'cos I'm greedy too

a bit of landscaping. not surprisingly given the high water table, we have few bunkers (at least two of which you really have to miss hit to find). but there's nothing to stop a bit of mounding, a few artificial folds across fairways etc

How about cheaper bar and restaurant prices or a relaxed dress code?
Would that entice you to use the clubhouse more for drinks and meals with the family?
i.e. Sunday dinner :)

My wife's a qualified chef....I wouldn't eat Sunday lunch away from home if it was free ! :)

Does she par boil the spuds, take them out to cool and bash them then stick them in the fridge...prior to roasting them? :p :p :p

Better greens, less women golfers & more bunkers (and better placed - I fly most of them quite easily).

id actually like to see a couple of nets near our first tee to losen up before that first drive.

Theres a pretty nice putting green, but as our first is bang in front of our club house, and is a tightish par five rolling right to left of OOB down the left a left hand drive is very punishing. id love some nets just to hit a few balls in before the off.

Not too much to complain about at my gaff, drainage could be better at certain parts of the course and there are a few tee's that need flattened out but generally, it's gravy.

We have one bunker on our 5th that is superfluous to requirements. It's way out near the 270 yard mark and the only time it ever comes into play and even then only rarely is if you hit it into the rough right off the tee. Now move that back another 40 yards and it'll be doing business all day long and would make the par 5 a much better hole

My wish is simple...I hope someone buys our greenkeeper a chainsaw for Christmas. The trees on our 18th are a real card wrecker. If he doesn't get one I may have to take matters into my own hands.
