North Devon - ideas

Off for a few days in a cottage somewhere between North Devon between Bude and Okehampton. Not on the coast, but i thnk about 20-25 min in the sticks inland from Bude. Any suggestion for family outings and to-dos. Unfortunately, no golf

On the way back visit Darts Farm , just off M5 at Exeter services junction. Great selection of food and a massive butchers, ideal for stocking up the freezer

Lots of nice places there. Clovelly, Bude, Port Isaac, Heartland, Tintagel etc.

Go to Saunton GC, look out across the course and over Braunton Burrows and imagine what you’re missing out on.
Apart from that Appledore is a cute seaside village.

I spent the day at RHS Rosemoor, Great Torrington yesterday (first visit) if you are in to gardens absolutely worth a visit.

Appledore was lovely and the coffee place on the main road across the street from the Seagate Hotel serves great coffee and cakes/food in general.

The Big Sheep was surprisingly entertaining, loads to do/see for young kids (our 4 year old loved it).

As has been mentioned, clovelly, tintagel, port isaac, all worth a visit
