The wind (Gusts) was sending balls 20YRDS right or more at the range earlier and making hooks look good, decided to chip into a basket 15 YRDS out but even they where affected... HOME TIME!!!

Beautiful on the South Downs today at The Dyke golf club looking out over Hove.
Wind off the sea gusting to about 35 knots...quite a challenge but great fun.

Blowing like it's October down here today so I am very pleased I work Sundays!

I think a well struck PW would have made it on the 200yard first this afternoon.
Please let us have some good weather this year!

I was indeed windy on the links today.

Heading to Nairn, Dust storms all along the A96 as its been so dry of late.

Played i few holes then got sand blasted so went to hit some balls on the range at Nairn Dunbar, its sheltered:)

200 yards carry with a 7 iron and not a total tail wind either.

I have to say, it didn't look fun playing the 16th and 18th at Nairn Dunbar;)

I loved playing sunday. The wind was really blowing even before I arrived at the course. I went into the round know full well I'd be hitting alot of punch shots. Really did amaze myself at just how well I can play this shot, only hard thing to judge is how many clubs to jump up due to lack of height. Best of the day was a nailed 4 iron from 185yrds that didnt get more than 10ft off the deck but ended up 6 inch from the pin for my only birdie that round.
Not sure I could play these shots every round, I do like bringing the ball in from height.

It was a very welcome change for the wind to be lovely and warm and not icey cold.
