Nice write up for Lottie Woad.

Well done Lottie - good to get a birdie on 72nd hole.

That will be close-ish to half a million US Dollars in 2 weeks then.
Not bad for a young-un.
Yup…about £410,000 - not bad for 8 days work 😳

A great event. Loved it. And I think her team will be pleased with how it went in the end. Putts just didn’t drop for nearly two days - that happens - but 8th improves on last year’s 10th, and the top 10 finish gets her into next year (though her world ranking would probably get her that anyway)- see y’all at Royal Lytham and St Anne’s.

I believe it was $300,000 for the Scottish and $228,359 yesterday. Over half-a-million USD.

But Charley Hull got $772,391 yesterday and Yamashita $1,462,500

But we should celebrate the game well played rather than the money. (Though I'm sure it comes in handy 😄)

What’s going on at RLSA?

Does women’s golf have 5 ‘majors’?
Which / where are they? I’m assuming you’re more in the know than many, SILH 👍🏻

She finished +1, as did a PP and the other was level. Be interesting to see what the weather conditions were like when she was on the course.

After last weeks +4 1st Rnd and missed cut - both of which were going to happen sooner or later so best sooner, Lottie playing FM Championship in Boston starting today. Nice, and less pressurised, three ball…with Linn Grant and Rose Zhang.

$91,000 for Caley and $54,000 for Lottie.

Nice way to earn a living in your first year in the job. :D

Well done both.

(Final round of 62 for Jin Hee Im was impressive)
My club pro observed yesterday that (as far as he is aware) no player on the LPGA tour has won more than one event this year...and that's quite some thing. He puts it down to the great strength of the SE Asian inc Thai, RoK, Japanese and Chinese contingent coming through and on to the LPGA Tour. Nelly Korda - last year totally dominant - is languishing relatively lowly and not where she or her team and fans would hope her to be - notwithstanding injury issues she's had.

Consequence of there not being a dominant player is that all who put in a couple of good rounds and make the cut by a bit will not only have a chance of doing v well, but on an occasion or maybe two..actually winning,

At least she's paid off her student loans this month!😁
Lottie would have been in receipt of a sports scholarship as she was not only an 'elite' amateur golfer but she is also very strong academically (she went to the same excellent state secondary school as our two(y)). As a result she might not have had to take out much of a loan (if indeed any at all)
