New Ping S55 irons

Weighting aside a longer club head gives a larger sweat spot... Only ego really has us use anything smaller.

The 4-6 in my combo set are quite small - certainly smaller than the TM300s I had previously. No problem hitting them as well (it's sweet spot) as the TMs and, perhaps surprisingly, they actually feel better. Sure, there's a touch of ego, but minimal I think - more just a smile at their beauty!

to add the Gareths post, remember that it was only a few years ago there was only blades! h/caps havent come down with all these GI irons...has it

A huge number of 'new' participants are now playing Golf now, many of whom would have given up when they couldn't hit those blades well enough - but can with SGI ones and either enjoy it at that level or continue to improve.
