New Courses 2016

Expensive though and it will cost me an overnightet with spa for the Mrs.

I'll make a point in getting to your gaffe in the summer bud
Not a problem at all, let me know when your coming down and we can get a fourball sorted.

When you looking to play Glynn
Going to try for June Robin as I presumed the course might have dried out by then if it ever stops raining, I will keep you informed

Not got loads as busy with non golfing things first half of the year.

Pumpherston in March, maybe a new one near Silloth and the H4H trip booked in.

I'm determined to get to Sandiway and Delamere Forest this year at some point.

Maybe get a couple of others in later in the year.

This thread has made me realise I have no plans to play any new courses in 2016.
I have some good trips lined up, including the trip to RCP and RSG later this Month, but absolutely none to courses I have not played before. I need to sort this out.....quickly!

Woburn - Marquis' & Duchess'
Whittington Heath
Hopefully somewhere in the North West - Birkdale, S&A, Hesketh, Royal Lytham & St Annes and St Annes Old Links have been mooted.

Avoid Hesketh, really not up to much. The linksy holes are good but across the road is very bland.

Ones of note,

Burnham & Berrow
Whittingham Heath
Delamere Forest
Forest of Arden

+ Handswoth
Maesdu
Rhos on Sea
Blackburn
Oundle
Lincoln
Worcestershire

Trump Aberdeen
Carnoustie Championship
Carnoustie Burnside
Murcar
Cruden Bay
Whittington Heath
Coventry
Longcliffe

For now.....

Planned so far:

Woodhall Spa Bracken
Woodhall Spa Hotchkin
Mission Inn Las Colinas (Orlando)
Mission Inn El Campeon (Orlando)
Providence (Orlando)
Oitavos Dunes (Cascais)
Quinta de Marina (Cascais)
Golf do Estoril

Not many yet but confirmed ones are good:

Druids Glen (2 rounds)
Royal Portrush.
Portstewart Strand

Having a look at possibility of playing:

Carne
Ardglass
The Island

Still awaiting society schedules and that usually throws up a few as well. I am scheduled for hernia op in June/July so going to have limited opportunities during the best months :(

My list is nowhere near as grand as most of the other people who have replied. I enjoy playing new courses but my budget doesn't really stretch to the really top courses although I did play Woodhall Spa (Hotchkin) and The Notts (Hollinwell) last year - both of which were fantastic. Anyway, new ones for this year include:
  • Newark (tomorrow :) )
  • Holme Hall
  • North Shore
  • Immingham

Shep

Opens entered at Scotscraig, Dunbar, Aberdour, Royal Burgess, Boat of Garten and Newtonmore and adding Glasgow Gailes to the Dundonald weekend as well as the Links Cup that I've already entered.

2016 is shaping up very nicely. :whoo:
