After the less than successful efforts of Brunston Castle, Dundonald and Rowanellon [?] you would think by now they would know the area is over provided with golf courses.

Can you explain what has been unsuccessful about Dundonald, I really wonder about some of the things you say

Dundonald is simply superb.well worthy of a tour event ,accepting the clubhouse isn't great. Facilities and course wise its 5 star. Probably my favourite course

Ill second that. Played here 6 or 7 times now and the course has always been immaculate (including through the winter).

I once had a bad coffee though!

Dundonald is very good as a course, ok the clubhouse is a bundle of cabins but they make do with what they have very well.
