Highlight for me is a toss up between Remedy Oak and Ferndown. Very different courses, both a great challenge and both presented in great condition.

18 with 9 of them new

Best and/or most enjoyable - hard to pick from Gleneagles Kings, St Andrews Castle, and Lundin. And, got to give a special mention to Wimbledon Common. A new personal best and we only paid £15 greenfee for 36 holes. What's not to like?

I thought I'd struggle to make 15 but have just made it past 20 with 21 that I can remember.

6 new ones, in no particular order:
Little Aston
Stratford Oaks
Crail Balcomie
Crail Craighead
Centurion
Allwoodley

5 most enjoyable in no particular order:
Berkshire Red
Centurion
Allwoodley
Little Aston
Crail Balcomie

14 thus far:

Southampton Municipal
Leckford New
Botley Park
Dibden
New Forest
Wellow
Wickham Park
Portsmouth
Winter Hill
Canford Magna Knighton
Canford Magna Riverside
Furzeley
Cams Hall Park
Skylark Meadows

Hoping to add another (most likely Tournerbury) before the year is out!

New Ones

Royal Liverpool
Bearwoods Lakes
Liphook
Tadmarten Heath
Royal North Devon
Burnham and Berrow
Sheringham
Aldwoodly

All cracking courses with Bearwood prob being my most enjoyable

Add about 20 courses on top of that

Really enjoyed Nairn considering it was early April the course was in great condition, the company wasn't to be either:thup:. But the stand outs this year were Donegal ,Sligo Rosses Point a fantastic course and well worth a trip but my personal favourite was Narin & Portnoo fantastic course, welcome in the pro shop and clubhouse and stunning views of the coast.

Only played 8 different courses this years.
Course in best condition was Dundonald.
The one I enjoyed the most - Machrihanish Dunes - great place to gowf

Played Dunston Hall, Norfolk yesterday and, boy, was it heavy! So soft and muddy that even my 'hedgehog' wheels became totally clogged. B****y hard work getting round.

30 courses in total, including 15 new ones. I must have played around 80 rounds on my home course in Nottingham, so it's been a good year.

The best course was Alwoodley in April, with very honourable mentions to Lindrick and Blackwell, which was the course I enjoyed most. There were only two that I wouldn't rush back to, but they are what they are and it wouldn't be fair to name them.

The best value was £15 for a Senior Open at Blankney, which is a very good course. For a green fee, played Lindrick for £35 (£140 for a fourball) a couple of weeks ago. That can't be bad.

Not played much this year as was out from 12 April to mid Aug. No new courses: Bearwood Lakes (home), Blackmoor and Hayling (honoury second courses :D), Burnham Beeches (only club match), Broadstone, West Hill and Swinley Forest. Burnham is nice but definitely the weakest and all the others are excellent.

I reckon I have played 43 courses this year, including 20 new ones, I have also played overseas for the first time, Vilamoura Old Course is the stand out Also a few of the new ones I have played deserve a mention, Reddish Vale, Davenport and Sickleholme all stand out.

That i can remember;

Morecambe (might have been last year??)
Aberdovey
Manchester
Silloth
Seacroft
Hotchkin
Fairhaven
Pleasington
Preston
St Anne's Old Links
Carden Park Cheshire
Borth & Ynyslas
Davyhulme
Hillside
Reddish Vale
Conwy
Seaton Carew (Brabazon)
Formby (next Sunday)
Compton & Royton

Been very lucky really, no duffers played (if you discount the duffer playing!)
