Thinking of getting a set of these. Tried a 6 iron today against the Mp15 and TBh the MP 4 felt miles better and flew more or less the same distance ....

felt lovely off the middle.

Anyone else got or thinking about getting a set?

feedback if you have some.

I have a set, with KBS C taper shafts. Beautiful club, and perhaps not a hard to hit as you might think, certainly easier than blades from 20 years ago. If you hit one at or near the sweet spot, it will fly as far as with a typical GI club of similar loft, and the feel is tremendous, but if you miss the sweet spot by a bit more, you will lose more than with the GI club, but you will immediately know what has happened. If you have the skill to shape the ball, you will be able to do that, and the shot irons are great for precision chips and pitches.

Make sure to get fitted for the right shaft and club spec. Mizzen doesn't offer a massive range of shafts, but there are some good choices. The C taper lite is worth a look.

Another option is to get some MP4, say 7 iron down, and get 6 iron and above in something else, such as MP-H5 which has the C taper lite as standard).

I'm in. Got 53s at the moment. Ive had mp33 and tp 11s. All amazing clubs

Not much fitting needed really, Im standard Length and lie and Ive tried a few diff shafts but the S300 works the best. Tried both clubs in a KBS tour Stiff and just felt a bit dead and light. Much better feeling with the MP4 head with the S300.

Thought about a combined set but just going to go 3-pw i think , keep my JPX pro for the times when cows behind and banjo fail to meet.

Going to get rid of the MP62 though.

I'm seriously chewing it over at the moment. I stupidly bought a set of Ping i25 over the summer that are still sat in the garage. Due to me being a tad lazy I still haven't moved them on.
The pings lasted 6 rounds before I gave up and went back to my My Mp53s. You just can't beat a set of Mizzies, the feel compared to the pings is like night & day.

Just out of curiosity, what didn't you like about the 25's Qwerty?

To be fair mate they're a good iron. I stupidly bought them off the rack after trying my mates i20s which go well for me. But the i25 with the stock CFS shaft just doesn't work for me, distance especially in the longer irons is pretty poor. I'm sure if I could be bothered getting the right shaft sorted they'd perform much better.

If you haven't bought yet, try the i20 too.

Have just taken delivery of my 25's ;)
Regular CFS will do me fine I reckon. I had i15's with the regular AWT and they were perfect, so no qualms about using these ones.
I would have looked at i20's but the 0% finance offer I got on the 25's was too good an opportunity to miss.
I'll let you know how I get on with 'em

Had a bash yesterday. Liked them but the results were better for me with the 850 pro. Which may be similar to the 825 but does suit my eye more having dropped the colours

Tried them yesterday, very nice, but for me they don't come near, in performance and price, to the new Srixon X 745 forged irons. I've had Mizuno's before but they also look a tad chunky for my liking.
