Looking at getting these irons as no.1 on my try list at present

Also like the Mizuno MPT4 wedges too !

Very smart looking irons and sensible cavity size

Any users on here ?

Going to be having a hit with them myself early in the new year. Have had my MX200's for three and a half years and fancy updating them if funds allow! ;)

I think Karl-102 uses them. Loves them as well. Takes em to bed at night.

Hey! I've been to bed with worse

It's true though haha! They are great! I posted a review in the review section a few weeks back. Great stock shaft options as well (px and dg). Really good looking iron with a little help as well.... Ping i20's came a close second though.....

Strangely enough, I've gone from the 800 pros to a set of mp32's. beautiful irons and just as long as the pros. I'm beginning to doubt some of the advertising blurb.

do they not offer KBS shafts as well.

I'm surprised you havn't noticed any difference distance wise between the 32 and the jpx.

I would have thought weaker lofts alone would make some difference.

I've a mate that switched to the jpx from and MP62 and said he gained at least a club, if not two in some cases.

It surprised me tbh. The loft difference should have accounted for at least half a club difference but my playing partners have been surprised at the distance these things go. Although, it may be unfair to compare distances in these conditions. Maybe I'll see more of a difference when it gets above zero.

if you are playing in freezing conditions it should by rights make even more difference. I tend to lose maybe 10-20 yards per club in 5 deg or less.

I'll let you know in the New Year...HID has bought me some for Christmas, had the fitting a couple of weeks ago.

One of those "clubs" will be from the loft difference and the other "club" will probably come from the softness of the forged vs the hardness of the cast metal.

I would take the JPX any day if I was a beginner or improving player though! Personally I prefer the MP series, like my 57s which I adore.

all well and good but both are forged;)

They are forging beginner clubs now? Whatever next! :D

GolfWRX says

I wouldn't say the JPX pro are a beginers club.
They guy i know who uses them is off 6 and used to have the same irons as me mp62. club against club the jpx are longer (big cavity)
a cavity back is always going to be longer than a blade.

I've just got new MP-T4 wedges.

They've only seen the course once so far and a couple of trips to the range, but I think I'm going to like them. Gone from Nike VR ProII and the new ones feel lighter to swing, and a bit softer off the face but that could be in my head.

I chose them because they were the least pear-shaped of the choice I had at the time. I'm not particularly keen on big sweeping round top edges.

I think wedges are a very personal thing. Pick a few you like the look of and see which ones feel nice when you give them a swish through the air :)

Mizuno always do things right! Top brand IMO.

If I ever HAVE to change from my 57s I bet the then current incarnation of the JPX series will be topping my list. Still cannot beat a sweetly struck MP series 3 iron though, those things are a thing of beauty and make you shiver inside!.

I see from your signature that you have joined a club in Cambridge? i like the way they discribe it as "gently undulating Cambridgeshire Countyside" does that mean Pancake flat?;)

There is a slight ridge running along the third fairway and a little indentation on the 15th, those are the undulations.
