Matchplay win but felt terrible afterwards

When I was about 14 I holed a 3 iron against my dad once and all I got was a grunt. It was not a perfect shot but it was not too bad!

I love it when I beat me dad which is now more often than not. The tables have turned but to be fair I play more often than him. I hate losing to anyone and when we get back to mums she can tell who won straight away haha

I am probably the opposite as when I play with my dad I really want him to win. We live a good two hours apart and he commutes to Norway every week so chances to play are rare, all I want is for him to play well and have a smile on his face.

Enjoy the time together and, as others have said, he will learn from the experience and appreciate it more when he turns you over.
