Make pros pay green fees

I know that, the point I was trying to make is we don't often get Messrs McIlroy, Westwood, Donald and Kaymer rocking up to play 18 holes at Waldringfield and stiffing us out of four green fees!

And what about poor old Jason having to pay green fees everywhere, or Bob for that matter!!!

As I said, they wouldn't have to pay they will get courtesy of most courses

I just think it makes sense. I'd also have Wayne Rooney et al pay for a match day ticket as they get to watch the game. Seriously, especially the likes of Gareth Barry, that's all he does after all, just watches the game pass him by...

yup, whenever i invite my neigbour out, he reminds me that he doesnt pay green fees. Anywhere! (i think if he did have to pay, he wouldnt play that course) fair play in my opinion, its not exactly easy to become a PGA pro is it!!

Yup, my Father in law is the same, always reminds me that he never has to pay. But in fairness he then usually plays me for my green fee (if not at my course) so gives me the chance to get a free game.

I'd prefer a pro to affiliate to a club a s a patron or sponsor the club themselves rather than be paid to be affiliated to a club.

It would be nice to have a pro adopt our club as patron or whatever.

Nah give them the courtesy of the course. The vast majority of golf pro's do not make mega bucks and is one of the few perks of dedicating you life to the game.
