The committee at Machrihanish Golf Club during a recent meeting decided to honour a GM Forum member and erected a lovely sign on the first tee in honour of the outstanding achievement of being the only person to ever land in a front garden!

(Still loads of mileage left in this one Steve. at least 10 years worth!)

Hogans Alley at Carnoustie, Amen Corner at Augusta and now The Kemlo Line at Machrihanish what can I say , wham acclimation , cheers lads I'm truely honoured.

Ya shower of bawbags , it must have been the Doc because he's the only one who can spell, lol.

Seriously hounered , lol, looks like you had a great weekend again. When we were there a couple of weeks ago I stood on that tee and wondered how I could hit it that far of line, haha

Spill it, how were the courses mate? Hopefully they were decent

In all honesty the course conditions didnt do the courses justice, greens poor on Mach and Dunes had 3 temps and half a dozen new ones but craw reckoned leaps and bounds better than weeks ago.

Dunaverty was amazing Steve. Greens were superb for the time of year. An excellent wee course which needs to be played on in summer to see how fast they get.

The Dunes is the Dunes, just brilliant. A few greens were relaid so hairy but that was to be expected. Overall I still enjoyed it.

Machrihanish was poor. Especially since most greens looked as if they needed a drink. Lot of sand and seed lying around. Same for us all but a let down compared to Dunaverty.
