Yesterday I lost my brand new Galvin Green waterproof hat, only had it a couple of weeks and cost £35, quite annoyed.

I realised over the last few months I’ve managed to lose a few things. Two weeks ago I lost my winter gloves, before Christmas a new Mizuno Cap and before that a Sunice waterproof rain shirt!

That’s well over a £100 worth of gear, I’m normally very careful with things, is it just old age kicking in?

Anyone else lose golf stuff?

It ‘s obviously not unusual as the lost property box at the club is full to the brim and none of its mine.

I don't often do it, but late last year I lost my sunglasses.

I rested them on the top of my bag to take my jumper off and forgot about them when I moved off again. :(

I've lost a lob wedge, a black Nike Glove and my hat in the last year.

There's also at least 3 occasions when i've left clubs greenside and either had to run back for them or someone following has picked them up and given them back to me. I am an idiot!

Hi,
I remember playing in Spain, against my brother, in 2010 and bugger me if I didn't lose three holes in about twenty minutes.
It wasn't a problem as he lost several holes on the back nine..............does that count .
Yes......I generally lose holes..........and sometimes I lose complete matches.

Slime.

Headcovers for me as well. Quite often I find some kind soul has picked it up and left it on the table in the locker room.

Forgot the headcover to my Nike Putter - had to spend £17 quid replacing it from an Ebay seller in America!

Sounds like time for the Ping fitting

I had 3 rounds in a row a few winters back, where I managed to lose 1 winter glove each time, so effectively ruined 3 pairs of gloves! :o

Luckily, they were just bog standard ones, not special golf ones… Ever since I have just braved the cold!

I lost my waterproof trousers last year, God only knows where they went. I lost my GPS and didn't know it was missing until someone handed it to me in the car park 2 hours later.

Good job I'm well known!!

I also lost an Underarmour coldgear top, didn't have a Scooby dooby doo where it went. About 6 months later under the influence of a bottle of wine my wife confessed to melting it onto the iron!

closest ive come was playing last summer i had my raybands on my head tourist style and hooked a drive up our 2nd, when over to hack out and the low hanging branches must have knocked them off my head. Played the par 3 3rd, then onto the par 4 4th.... only to realise as i was playing my appoach into 4 that i had no glasses,

walked back to where i hacked out on the 2nd and there they were, i think it was lucky to be a twilight round and the course was empty.

other than that a few dx3's or ad333 through the season but not alot.

Your just getting old paddy ;)

i lost my 7i 3times in one round kept leaving it greenside, twice was handed back to me final time was in the club house to which the old couple found amusing.
Also my headcover to my putter lost it constantly which was annoying as was before my leg op so couldnt run back for it so had to limp haha, gave up and brought a magnetic one in the end

Dropped the Mizuno MP CLK headcover about half a dozen times, they are too easy to knock off. Fortunately it has been handed in each time.

Golf wise my Ping G10 hybrid cover was a nightmare, I could lose it 3 or 4 times a round and groups behind got fed up of handing it back. Worst head cover ever.

Most frustrating, I bought a bright orange G-Shoc watch. Hard to lose you would think but it lasted less than a week and I have no idea where it is.

If you have a habit of leaving clubs at the side of the green place them on top of the flagstick when it is taken out. That way when the flag is replaced the club has to be lifted first. It also keeps the grip dry if there is water/dew on the grass.
