You would have thought they would be able to see that the World Cup is on then , it was only decided 8 plus years ago and the weather is the same there every year at that time

So either really poor planning or finding excuses

It’s surely couldn’t be a funding issue

As stated, it always looked like poor scheduling, and was questioned at the time of it's announcement.

Seems like this could be a case of LIV wanting to reschedule for the reasons above, and the state/venue either trying to squeeze more money from LIV in order to accommodate the request or extricate themselves altogether.

Two weeks ago it was full steam ahead

Now it’s events being “postponed” a the optics don’t look great and certainly can’t be good for the players to have so much uncertainty and big gaps between events

They need these events to bring in revenue to help pay the bills
