Or Carnoustie where there are no views!
Yeah, I covered that one with Lytham :)

Tralee has fantastic sea views, Trump is through massive dunes and RCD has mountains for the backdrop so hopefully I've covered all options.

I’m spoilt in South wales being a stone throw from the coast we got some Beautiful links golf courses and some nice parklands I went back to parkland golf After a couple of years on the links and I can’t wait for my current membership to run out so I can go back to the links next year.

For me it’s proper golf and golf all year round with beautiful views around the local coastline no brainer for me but I love links golf so I’m a bit one sided.

Each to their own opinion but your quote above is actually nonsense. Try playing Royal Lytham, Tralee, Trump Aberdeen and Royal County Down then come back and tell me the views are all the same.

yeah, but apart from the views of the sea, the dunes, the mountains , the beaches, the red brick terraced houses etc, they are all the same!

I've never played a links course. Would like to try one. No idea where the nearest one to me is though. I imagine I'd have to travel many miles to find one.

The links courses I’ve been lucky enough to play courtesy of the meets on here are the best courses I’ve played. I’ve loved every one of them. Albeit I’ve been beaten up almost every time!
A dozen times a year is enough for me. Simply because the game required to pay it, isn’t one I possess.

Cinque Ports and RSG are unrealistic courses for me to be a member at, so I’m never gonna play it enough to really have a game suited to it imo.

Been and played Saunton east and west for the last three years.Love playing there and played when calm and in 50 mph wind and a hailstorm! Links golf reminds me of being on one of the best rollercoasters there is,sometimes you want to get off but when the rides over you can’t wait to go on again!!

Really enjoy links golf as it's such a change from my normal parkland. Today was St Annes Old Links for the first time and probably a 2 club wind and mainly a cross one. Shot 75 so very happy , HiD not so as it beat her up big time , won 8&7 😲.
Mate up at the Tassie had 100 for a nett 85 today 😁
