Doubt the neanderthals at the OP's club have heard of the legislation let alone understand it. Me thinks the OP is per chance trolling for a reaction
they get full use of the course just the same as the men and they get wednesdays as their comp day, they can use all the facilities the club provides as well as the rather posh ladies lounge,so the answer to your question is yes the get exactly the same as a men's full member would. That's YOUR clubs fault for charging that, not the members. Do the women get all the same privileges? Tees 7 days a week, unrestricted?
You talk some fish man.

men get one day a week for a comp, juniors the same and so do ladies and seniors, there is also a mixed comp weekly so all in all everyone gets the same only some pay a lot more for the privilege.WOW! A Wednesday for comps, as oppose to the Saturday or Sunday that, no doubt, the men get. It is absolutely, without doubt, your club's committee's fault for allowing and pricing the subscription like that. Why should the lady members be give anything less than what they get if that's the price the committee sets?

sat or sun,but this is traditionally when most men have days of work, the mixed comp is normally a sunday afternoon.Just for the avoidance of doubt; what day is the men's comp day?

All the lady members I have spoken to about this are quite happy with this arrangement, as am I as I do other stuff at weekends.

Equal access to the course at weekends is essential.
women can and do play on mens comp days( after the last tee time) and i have no problem with that, most men work a 5 day week or shift patterns, some men cant play in comps because a sat/sun is a working day for them BUT the still pay a full mens green fee and i thought the green fee was to gain access to the course and clubhouse, comps are paid for separately to your fees and is not the be all and end all of playing golf! And women don't work these days, is that the attitude of your club? Traditionally from when? So, the big question, excluding mixed comps, are women free to play on a sat or sun when a gents comp is on, not withstanding the gents tee times obviously.

This is the kind of thing we're up against trying to get real equality - the demographic in ladies section tends to be older, not working, and quite happy playing during the week. Even better if you can get it cheaper. In truth most ladies sections are more comparable to the seniors section than the main men's section.
Things won't change until younger women, with jobs, can see golf clubs offering proper opportunities to them. Equal access to the course at weekends is essential.
Louise - I'm not having a go at you but I would NEVER join your club.
