Kirkland golf balls

costco have said they will be stocking the K-sig ball at £24.99 for 2 dozen (From what I have read).

I have a membership so will get some when they are released, although not sure they will suit my game.

Was in Costco today so had a look but none of the balls in yet

On the previous post on gloves it is generally pot luck - can always guarantee X Large in stock but other sizes you never know from visit to visit.

I usually pick up two 3 packs if the smaller size are in stock as a result.

A family member works in Costco and has reserved 5 dozen of these for me when they come in!

Hopefully around £22 plus her employee discount = winner winner

Was in Costco today.. no sign

but then when Costco has no chicken breast fillets in stock god knows how they will stock these balls.. not even got the basics!

Was in Costco Gateshead today, I now one of the shift managers very well so I got him to check up on the balls, basically head office UK has an arrival date of 31 Dec 2017. He then said they put a daft date in like that (12 months advance) when they have absolutely no idea when they'll be getting stock.

starting to give up on the dream of changing to them

which someone I think said on the thread earlier that they cant see people going Costco and buying balls with the weekly shop. Starting to think that.. I go Costco maybe once every 3 months its no good if they haven't got them in stock really .. id rather stick to my bridgestones for now (long term switch to srixon maybe) which I can just get anywhere than stock up on balls and risk running out and having to change AGAIN until Costco can be bothered to stock them

Crazy as it sounds, will probably be able to buy them online when they are released saving that trip to costco.

I don't expect them to be released here anytime soon. US is the main Costco focus and where the company was built, with the high demand and relatively small supply, all balls will go there for the time being.

Thats exactly the thread - someone will likely re-sell them to save the trip to costco / sign up to costco.

So I now only have 1 "playable" ball left as the other 2 are pretty scuffed up.

The biggest down side to them was, after 9 holes playing before Xmas, the ball I was playing was looking a bit battered. I then hit a tree with a drive and the cover split.

Saying that, I went back to my other balls (Taylormade project a, srixon ad333) and noticed the difference. Not that I am surprised.

I like them, I have one unused one left and I'm keeping it for a warmer day with dryer greens to see how it plays. Which means I'll lose it after 2 holes no doubt.

Most of the numbers can be ignored, they're round about the same as the Chrome Soft with the only differences being due to strike, main thing of note was how scratched up it was after a few shots compared with the Callaway. Might be cheaper, but if they're scratching up at twice the rate, it hardly seems worthwhile.

How long are they going tonne available for..?
That would be my concern
Not much point in getting used to a ball to find that you can't get it any more....

Isn't that true of every ball? There's a "new" ProV1 every couple of years at least. I thought the Maxfli A10 was a great ball and didn't need changing. Can't see that longevity of production is a reason not to try it.

Agreed but most other balls are available throughout their lifespan.
But these KS balls are likely to be snapped up so quickly that all stock will go...And who knows when more will come in.
Costco don't....

Think Shiels and Finch are both going to do some testing on the course and in closed testing on a number of the lesser known brands and think Vice are included in that. The Kirkland seemed to perform as well as the Callaway (old version or not, still a big player in the ball market). To be honest providing performance didn't diminish I can live with some blemishes. To be fair chances of me keeping it for more than a round is unlikely and they could always go in the practice bag. For the price and seeing what they do head to head, I'd definitely be interested once they come to the UK

I like crossfield (one of the few haha) but in that review he retests the 90 yard pitch as wasn't happy with the spin numbers and they ended up similar.

Yet when he done the driver test the KS spin numbers were very low and resulted in 9 yards less carry but he didn't do a retest then so lacked a bit of consistency IMO
