I'm proud to say I've got my self a sleeve of Kirkland Signature "Costco" golf balls! I'll be putting them in play Tuesday... can't wait to see if all the hype is true!

Supposedly mid-January in the uk and approx £30 too (although not sure if this is for the usual 24 balls pack that is sold in the US, or the usual ripoff 12 ball pack)

Yeah. They'd need to be sub £20 per dozen to really catch a hold in the market. £15 per dozen would be ideal pricing.

If they become £15 a dozen I will give them a go with a view to switching

we shop in Costco for a few items (not a lot) but their petrol prices are amazing and their callaway summer shoes are top knotch

if they can launch these balls in here and stock them well.. perfect

Totally agree. Golf Depot are always knocking some premium balls out at the 20 to 25 quid range. These look interesting, 5 piece balls from Japan for 20 notes plus P&P http://golfdepot.co.uk/product/details/mizuno-jpx-platinum-golf-balls/

Excellent price considering these are around £35-£40 mostly everywhere else.
Not sure what the outer layer material is as it doesn't seem to state anywhere but would be surprised at the price point if it wasn't uerethane.
Probably grab a couple of dozen at this price.

Multi-blend polymer which is rather non descript but an interesting ball, I like the idea of the antiglare coating.

ordered a box to try at £19.99. Then got an email cancelling the order as its out of stock. They are now back in stock , but now £24.99. Dodgy practice from them, won't order from then again.

Do you have the link were you ordered them from? Cheers

I spoke with Costco customer services last week regarding these

Thanks for taking the time to write to us.

Unfortunately, due to a production problem in the US, we do not have an expected due date for the Kirkland Signature Golf Balls at present.

Due to overwhelming demand, our available inventory has been depleted far faster than our expectations and our Buying Team are working diligently to get additional stock as soon as possible.

I then contacted them again to ask if they anticipated selling these balls in the UK once their production issues were resolved, they responded that they had no information as to when or if they would be available in the UK.

I don't think that is dodgy practice at all. They were only available on their US website with the price listed in dollars. Due to the current fluctuation in the exchange rate, the pound price has changed. $29.99 is now £24 give or take a few pennies. They are still out of stock.

I may be wrong but I think he's talking about golf depot changing mizuno price to £25. Pretty standard from them lol I'll still use them tho as they do stuff dirt cheap. Albeit sometimes they seem a bit like shysters

I think chasf was talking about the Mizuno balls from golf depot, not the Kirkland/Costco ones. As the Mizuno balls I linked to have indeed gone up to £24.99 now. I must have got lucky as I got them at £19.99 the other day. Perhaps they monitor this forum and anticipated a glut of people buying them at 20 notes so thought they'd make a bit more profit. Who knows.

that`s what i am moaning about, read allot of negative stuff about them, wont ever order from them as they seem like a bunch of chancers.

It is they way they did it that annoys me, saying that they are out of stock, when they are not so they can push the price up.
The thing is I would have paid £25 a box if they were that at the start.

I wouldnt be surprised if these kirklands never make the UK market. Costco is huge over in the US (rightly so what a great shop.. the parking spaces alone are designed for actual cars!) anyways their huge over there and so is golf.. its a match made in heaven

costco over here on the other hand not that many warehouses.. its luck if you live near one or not. their golf section varys on season but its always tiny.

I wouldnt be surprised if they didnt bother.. they have callaway balls for sale similar price to what I expect these to be.. they prob think one type is enough

this isnt fact of course pure speculation however we are just small fish this side of the pond!
