Had a great day with Bob and you can teach old dogs new tricks, I got some tips that I will be applying to my game in the future even with my body troubles.

My short game was gone today, part nervousness of playing with a pro and part because it was crap! :D My putting was'nt too good either but partly cos I was trying to focus on what Veasy had shown me ;). Something I am definitely going to buy when it comes out. Cheap as chips, simple and WORKS!Even Sergio could benefit from one. It takes a lot to get me excited in golf but this thing does and I dont do plugs for anyone unless it is something so worthwhile it should be spread around.

Then I learned how to cook :D I have started getting into cooking and we had a good natter on the subject.(Look forward to doing my veg Bob ;))

Bob had a go with my driver then casually said, "I've put a mark in the center for you." which just cracked me up. :D

Speaking of cracks, Bob was using a driver with an almighty crack down the striking face of it, this crack was severe and all the way through, he's such a tight ass like me I suppose :D but he hit this thing so beautifully. I know Bob will think that he didnt play all that well today but for me he's beautiful to watch (No Im not gay!) then again he did say that he hardly plays the game, which I can understand when you are teaching AND developing something great for the golf market as well.

All in all I have had a great day even with a bad round, but if I work these tips into my game I dont think I will have so many bad ones, bit less yo yo golf in future. Thanks Bob!
Can't wait for Veasy to come out.

Herb, thanks for the game today and thanks for out driving me on more than one occasion :) It was a nice change to play a dry course with good greens and if you find the 3 balls I lost can you send me them please?
I'm pleased you like the V-Easy and you see the potential it has.
How were the roast potatoes tonight?
I look forward to a return game at Martin Moor when it dries out and I hope to see the old dog showing off his new tricks.
Cheers mate and Appy Sunday :D

It depends on the pro Basher, but in this case no question.Ive played pro's before but I was a little more confident and cockey then and did'nt have MS, its the first pro Ive played since MS came along and trying to be the player I used to be didnt work, so out with the drawing board and i scrawled 'F***it' on there and things got better. :D

Hey Bob, you must admit, i very nearly had an impressive left hander with the back of my 5 iron, oh how I wish it had'nt hit that tree and made it look silly :D

That was a cracking shot for 20 yards until it hit the tree and killed it dead in its tracks. Fortunately I was in the other trees with a clear swing. :)
Half in net 4 :D

You mean this crack?
