Bought myself a new pair of shoes yesterday from our club shop as i had 80 euros credit and the FJ DryJoys i had were well...... a lot worse for wear....

I have fallen out of love somewhat for FootJoys shoes....After having 4 different pairs which ranged from affordable to expensive i can say that i wont ever buy them again.
Yesterday i bought a pair of Nike Lunar Controls in white with the florescent green stripe around the sole....
They look classy and to be fair are probably one of the comfiest shoes iv ever had the pleasure of putting on my feet...Also they are one of the easiest shoes iv ever cleaned....The dirt doesn't get caught anywhere.A wipe with a wet sponge and hey presto.
Even though i had bad experiences with them the FJ Contours get the gold star for the comfiest but the Nike's are a close second...
It was a toss up between the Nike's and the New Adidas 4.0 ATV's in the white and orange but they felt way heavier than the Nike's...
Its only their first outing but for someone that walked 18 holes on a hilly course for the first time in 10 weeks after my injury i can honestly say that i would recommend these shoes to anyone looking for style comfort and stability in a very lightweight shoe......

Must start saving the shillings now for a black pair for the mucky days....

Ideal wasn't sure on these or FJ's. Never had FJ's before and had current nikes since I started golf 2years ago and now only started to leak. And the lunars do u like quite stylish

I had my Nike Air's replaced under warranty this week, but cheekily asked if I could pay the difference and go for the Lunars as well. I had the ones with the red around the bottom.

A bit too flashy for me normally, but I can't see it when I'm wearing them.

How have they faired over the winter and waterproof-wise?? These are on my list tried a pair last week and were very comfy. I named a pair to last at least a couple of seasons.

I've had mine on the course for the past few months and the ground has been pretty wet, however my feet have been as dry as Gandhi's flip flops :-)

So far so good.
