played yesterday Breadsall Priory

out in 37 ,2 over 7 pars 2 bogeys almost faultless golf tee to green
in 49 ,13over shocking golf , like i had never swung a club included an 8

was very bizarre , i just cant explain what happened to me !!!

was my best chance to break 80 and i end up shooting 86 ffs

Funny old game,same for me today.
Level after 10 holes,10 pars ended 7 over.
Still,a small cut beckons

I had the same Saturday, 40 front, 46 back. Too many visits to the bunker and poor on the par 3's. Blaming it on getting held up on the back 9!

My Saturday was somewhat different .. out in 39 (3 more than I would expect) and back in 31 = 70...my age!!

Winter, shorter course but putting on fairways so that normally balances it out.

About two years ago went out in two under 33, very pleased with myself. Came back in 47, 11 over Ha Ha silly game.

Works both ways, had 8 points for first 9 totally pants, then 19 on the harder back 9.

Its a stupid game. Had three blowouts yesterday all on par 3's including SI 14 and 18. I amassed 31 points off 3/4 handicap despite these and so the rest of the round was pretty good. Annoying how you can feel it is going so well and then chuck a bad hole in. I started with four pars and a bogey and going great guns until the 6th (SI14). Made nett par at the 7th (SI 2) and then mucked up the easiest hole on the course. Real show stopper.
