Is anyone using Mizuno MP R12s?

Hi All,

I am interested in some opinions from users of the Mizuno MPR12 wedges please.

Any and all information useful.

I am looking to be fit for some of these but am keen in opinions.

I have a 52 and 56. Was fitted when I had my irons done. I really like them. They feel lighter than vokeys to me and although not as forgiving as say game improvement wedges (like the ping g series) they had a lovely feel off the face as its the same grain flow forged they use in their irons. The grooves in mine have stayed pretty sharp as well, but that's my innate ability to hit them consistently well

They're Mizuno - they'll be great.
Although I prefer the look of the T-11 or the new T-4

I have a 52 and a 58 that replaced some vokey wedges, for me they have a softer feel than the vokeys, mark up a little easier, just cosmetic (I've had them since last summer) and give me a slightly lower flight. All in all very happy with them.

Out of interest did you have them fitted with the same shafts as your irons?

I tried the R12s at my fitting but preferred the look if the T4s. Especially in black nickel :thup:
