The golf bug is fully back . Played a few holes on Friday and hit the ball not too bad. Played on Saturday and finished gross 76 (Par 70) but couldve been way better. Played in a Tri-AM today and finished 75 with my own ball and 12 under between the 3 of us

Good news. Well done. I played like "king of the knobs" yesterday and really lost the plot on the back nine (8 pts) so was shelling out plenty of cash in the roll up. It was a bit better today in the monthly stableford with 30 pts including three no score holes. It was just two duffed chips, and a sliced 4 iron from the centre of the fairway that cost me. I didn't hole a putt of any length but the ball striking especially with the 5,6 and 7 irons and the driver was pretty good for me. I'll put yesterday down to not playing for a few weeks. Sadly my mum isn't well so its only 50/50 that I'll get a game next Saturday morning before having to go down and look after her Saturday PM and Sunday. That'll be another 25 pointer the week after again then

I had a good weekend myself with 31 points on Sat (30+ mph winds) then a net 69, which should result in a nice cut to 11 and getting closer to my target of single figures!

Well played Owen, great to hear you've recaught the bug. I don't know how I'll cope in the winter when I can't roll up to the club midweek and have to go to the lifeless range instead!
