A question on how the tour count the stats - if your ball is off the green, on the fringe and putter is used is this shot counted. Or do they only count when actually on the green?

especially as its at Aylesbury Vale... an unfamiliar course, so the poss of an occasional 3 putt is a definate poss

I'm in,normally count my putts but never thought to count how many before a 3 putt,had a game on Monday and had 25 putts my best ever, but had 38 the game before,dont know when I will get a game next but will start then,be really interesting to see if anyone can go 2 rounds without a 3 putt.
