ebay is a great place to look.
Good ladies sets crop up quite regularly and are usually a bargain.
I'll have a look later and flag up anything that looks decent.

Bloody hell, 47 points today at Ravensworth and a gross 79
Had been working on a swing change in the garden during lockdown and what a difference! Have had issues hitting out the toe but middled a lot more today.
Dunstanburgh tomorrow where i've only broken 90 3 times so fingers crossed. Probably score over 100

83. One lost ball. A stone cold shanked 5i on the 6th. Couldn't hole a putt all day, and iron play was ropey. Driver and 3w were solid enough.
Only had to speak to one member of the public, who was sunbathing in a hollow just off the 17th. Idiot was either pissed, or stoned. When I saw him lying there, I thought I might have hit him, as my drive was pretty much there. Guy was abusive, and an absolute idiot. Some people just are stupid.

Managed to get out for 9. Was lovely, but definitely glad I didn't book for 18. Stopped scoring on the 4th. Couldn't care less. Hit 1 tee shot I was happy with, a few good 2nds, rubbish around the greens and putting wasn't great either.

Played last night with my son. Played ok but no warm up facilities or putting green available. Made zero putts. Greens weren't great fairways were much improved. Managed 13 holes before dark but it was just fun to be out. Fishing all day tomorrow, cannot wait
Fabulous 9 holes. Brs showed the course as virtually full but my eyes said otherwise. Very odd, only saw 1 other pair out. Anyway, brilliant to be out, played well including a stonking tee shot down the middle on the 1st ??.

Ha ha. So stupid. I was trying to resize the picture on my phone and have never done that before on there. I was like a chimp, pressing various icons, not knowing what they were. By the time I found the resize gizmo I must have tapped something that put that dot there. I didn't want to go through the whole procedure again and so gambled that no one would notice. How foolish of me ?

Some good scores coming in off the course this afternoon including a +2 gross off 5 and a guy with 22 points for the front nine. Looked nice out there but hadn't realised they've let the rough grow up as they would for the major events of the year. Can see the long grass right and left both calling my ball off the 10th tomorrow

No, I just understand the situation and the issues greenkeepers have had to work with.
They have, by instruction from R&A/England Golf, been restricted as to what they could do, and how often they could cut fairways, tees and rough.
Everyone has had the same issues. It wasn’t by choice.
Perhaps if you read other posts rather than just moaning you’d already have understood this too!
