I recently posted on the wanted thread, (wanted low trajectory/spin shaft), and received several recommendations including one of the original grafalloy blue, (not to be confused with the popular prolaunch blue).
Anyway after searching high and low for a bargain prolaunch red which was recommended by Ethan, I came across a regular original Grafalloy Blue on Amazon for £19.99 including delivery.
I read the reviews and the general concensus was that it was a strong mid to high kick low torque, (2.8), mid trajectory shaft that would offer a boring penetrating flight - Just the job.
I had read some comments where some people had fitted a stiff version and regretted it as the shaft plays very stiff to rating.
On arrival I examined the shaft testing it against the floor as you do and my oh my, it is some shaft.
I'm right in between regular and stiff however this beast is as stiff as if not possibly stiffer than the Stiff Voodoo I had fitted in my Nike Vr Pro.
I've fitted a matching Blue New Decade grip and a Razr fit adapter this afternoon and the shaft is now basking in the conservatory begging me to take it out in the morning to see if I'm man enough for it
I glued the shaft into the adaptor at 13-30, it's very warm in the conservatory and later the tumble drier will be on to maintain the heat and speed up the curing process.
Tee off time is 07-30 will the shaft be cured sufficiently enough to use or should I leave it to Sunday and let it torment me for an additional 24 hrs?
