I got my first win on Saturday!

It was in my club's Texas Scramble competition, so I was part of a team (of three), and therefore carried somewhat by the two better players I was with, but a win's a win, right?

I played my part though, rolling in an eagle putt from just off the first green, and a 7' downhill putt on the 18th for a net par. We won by 1 point.

We have a couple of places in mind...but can't say yet.

Having said that, we've not given up hope of saving the historic course. It's certainly got more heritage that's relevant to local people than has the private 18th century landscape that Lewisham Council is trying to recreate with HLF money.
