I can't even wear the likes of FootJoy or Callaway polos in a non-golf setting, let alone having one with a club badge on it. 😂 Under Armour etc is fine since they're not golf-specific.

I wear Adidas, Nike, DKNY , under armour shirts outside of golf

Ironically never wear them on the course

On the course is only FJ

Those wearing club branded golf shirts worn off the course should be arrested and charge immediately.

But but but.. Imagine the opportunity comes up for 5 mins putting practice on the office carpet? I’d look pretty bloomin stupid doing that in suit trousers/dress shirt and tan brogues! You don’t ever want to be ‘that guy’ 😲

Best to be prepared (y)

A Titleist TSR1 7 wood now completes my bag 😅

I wanted to wait until the release of the GT1 fairways, but it's a long time until spring. The GT2 fairways are less forgiving than the TSR's, so I've plumped for them for 5 and 7 wood.

If The GT1's are outstandingly better, it shouldn't cost a fortune to trade up.

Genuine question- does all this top of the line gear have a material impact on the quality of your golf - are you dropping shots because of it do you think?

I wanted to renew my bag I was just getting nowhere, so went for new stuff that works for me. Each section of the bag has had a fitting.

My driver is an absolute game changer for me. My irons are just perfect for my game too - money well spent in terms of overall game.

The in-betweens are my issue - the fairways/hybrids/long irons - so there is some amount of experimentation with these, but at the end of the day, with just driver and irons I can get to a 380 yard green in two, but any further it's three - that's the gap I am trying to fill, which would lower scores.

Wedges and putters are just something I like to fiddle with.

Yes, it has all come at once and can't see me changing anything at a massive cost for a good while. If something doesn't work, I can get a fair price swapping it. I don't smoke or drink much, so it's just the cost of the hobby for me.

I am almost happy with my golf and that's what I set out to do.

Similar to you with my bag swap this year

I had a driver fitting (tsr 3) in January, it really changed my game. Unfortunately not hitting well ATM but that's me not it

Similar time I picked up a nearly new tsr3 4 wood

Then added a Scotty as I always fancied one

Fortnight ago I upgraded my 8 year old irons. Only had one round with them so far but it was a treat to myself and I've never been fit for irons so they now suit my swing as best possible

Given myself the best chances

Fitting really worked for me, judging on the results so far, so just sort of carried it through to all parts of my bag.

Was amazed seeing the difference shafts make and if I improve over time, I would now look to refit and test that part as opposed to buying a new club.

I find it amazing that my driver once fit when I'm having an off day my worst ones are further and straighter than normal which can only be a good thing

Some Bridgestone RXS balls. Not really used Bridgestone but got talking to the pro in a club shop (Redditch golf club) about triple track balls and said about giving the Mindset technology a go. Purchased a sleeve. Let's see.

Wolsey have some very nice polos reduced from £75 to £15 on the Golf Outlet section of their website, I picked up a couple this week, and they're very good quality.
