I tried a Spider last year as I thought it was the go-to mallet style, but ultimately it didn't suit my eye at all. Too blocky looking and I couldn't gain any confidence with it.
Very happy with my Odyssey #7 now mate.Have you tried a Spider GT? I bought one last year and love it.

What’s the insert like on a 1 to 10 hardness
Yes me to.It's like a milled face so pretty firm which I much prefer, hard to give it a 1 to 10 score as I've not really ever played with soft insert putters.

Lol.. I done exactly the same earlier... 3 and 6....at that price won't be gutted if can't hit them... Will get money back anyway.Bought two hybrids Callaway apex 21 on Callaway pre owned .
£129 for both can’t complain with that there £125 each used on eBay .
At some point you would think that these Callaway PreOwned sales must tank the resell value of all the Callaway stuff on eBay. I'm about to stick an Epic Speed driver and 3 wood on eBay to see what I can get for them.Lol.. I done exactly the same earlier... 3 and 6....at that price won't be gutted if can't hit them... Putter has just been delivered, ordered yesterday and took standard shipping so no idea how fast the "express shipping" would have been.Odyssey Eleven 2 Ball faced balanced putter from Callaway PreOwned. Figured it would cost the same as getting the Ten 2 Ball I've got re-shafted with a Stroke Lab shaft (it recently didn't survive a trip).

Good luck with it. I am holding strong.....justTook the spider out for a roll tonight. Sat around a green for about 40 mins. Really enjoyed this spider tour. So easy to line up. Green was a little slow but signs are good for this one.
Needed a pair of spikeless shoes that had more grip than my Footjoy Flex (awful soles for anything other than dry grass; even a bit of dew is risky), and last week tried the Skechers slip on boas, and they felt lovely. Finally bit the bullet and bought a pair, plus a Titleist cap, from Golfonline. Had vouchers from work, so free.
