Really worthwhile investment. My mates course bought a few too many when doing up their driving range.
I nabbed one for £100.
I'm out most nights in the garage swinging away. Not hitting balls but taking full swings with the 8 iron.
I'll set up a net in the garden in the summer.
Keeps the swing oiled without spending a fortune at the range.
Pop the kettle on. Few swings back in. Few times an evening. Haha
I got the spornia net and the forb net from lock down then I was using a spurk mat but my feet were destroying the grass. So then I got an off cut and last summer I built the base up but it was always on a budget.. this is the final part of the puzzle. I use the Garmin R10 as I am outside.
It works fine but the neighbours were getting a little chatty whilst I was doing my 3 simulator rounds…. But they will get used to it.

Flogged the Paradym irons I bought as a second set and my Big Bertha 3 & 5 woods I never really got on with and spent the money on G430 Max 3 and 5 woods and some triple track balls for a packed golfing week ahead.

Pro bought back the 3 hybrid, as it didn’t perform particularly different to my 4 hybrid and only wanted one in the bag.

Love a Sunday spree :giggle:

Box of Vice Pro Air golf balls with red and black freckles on them, and one of the Vice Dura gloves. I've been enjoying using the Seed SD-05, but typically, it's sold out now.

For some reason I bought a vokey sm5 T grind in 62 degrees.
Picked it up for 40 quid so thought it was worth checking out.

I've never used a T grind. Any of the new T grinds are very low bounce at 4 degrees. This has 8 and peaked my intrest.

I have various lob wedges and I'd like to find one for the links but can't get on with proper low bounce wedges.

Some titleist tour soft - played with one at the weekend and seemed to get more response from around the greens, more than I get from the prov v I normally use. Only problem I found was they might scuff up a bit too easy but can live with that.

A new Golf Pride tour velvet 360 for my driver. The old grip had a noticeable dip worn in it where my right thumb goes. Never kept a driver long enough to change the grip before!

Mat arrived, impact layer looks thin, but I have underlay so left in place.
Grass section looks okay .. will see how it wears , I suspect it’s not industrial strength but will satisfy a frustrated golfer.

Bunch of knockoff golf training aids from AliExpress. Got those "force pedals" (just 2 silicon pads) for £3 instead of the £45 for the original ones. They will probably be mushy and not produce any force and the cut in half tennis ball will be better.

Also got a knockoff ProSender for £18 that will probably set my wrist at the completely wrong angle.

Which one?

ProSender knockoff…

Force Pedal knockoff…

You might find them even cheaper on the site but I was happy enough with the prices.

Some nice new lightweight Oakley trousers and shorts now the suns back.

I really like the Oakley stuff as the bottoms have an inner rubber trim which stops the polo’s coming untucked as tucking them in is a pain…
