Exactly. Endless examples that swing aesthetics have zero impact on golf game. I never get the kind of back-burner fascination with this Mahan guy. I watched his swing on YouTube and it doesn't look any different to a hundred other pros to me. ??‍ Maybe he should change it since he obviously doesn't win much anymore.

Compare his swing to Ian Poulter, then tell me you can’t see a difference....,

Would you recognise a one plane, and a two plane swing?

Not unless it looks wacky and obvious like Bryson's and Moe Norman's. It also doesn't mean a thing with regards to where the golf ball goes does it?

I once read that Mahan had one of the most pure one plane swings out there. It was included in an article of the best swings, alongside Scott, Pat Bradley, Woods, Moe Norman, Els etc
