How much do you spend in the club bar?

Our top spender was around £1600 last financial year.

I,as an employee, was around the £400 mark and in the top 20 so as you can see there are way way too many folk don't spend at the club.

Sounds a lot £400 but when you break it down to a spend per week it isn't at all really so as you say there are a lot of players not spending a deal. Why do people not spend much at the club though? time/to expensive/economic worries/dress codes? must be a defining reason

Honestly not a great deal. I used to buy the odd Guinness and nutty. But since getting back into my training regime last February I stopped drinking then fell out with the game so haven't been to the club since August. I reckon I spent under£100 last year, when I get around to rejoining somewhere this year I can't see it being more than£200

Loads and don't even cRe to think how much, I always have at least 4-5 pint after a round and play at least 5 times a week and then there is food. Must be a lot but hey ho there you go.

The main one.Every pound is a prisoner.

Since June I have put £400 on my bar account, and my balance is £4.:( Looks like I must be getting through about £700 a year.

might be minted, only drinks champagne and buys plenty of rounds. Each to their own, I would be happy with 1.3k to spend in the bar let alone 13k... horses for courses

Practically nothing..... a) I don't drink alcohol b) the atmosphere isn't such to encourage people in there, will get even worse when they get rid of Sky TV from the lounge.

(Never understood why clubhouses show Sky TV on something that's barely bigger than a portable anyway!)

I do the odd pot of tea every now and then, that's about it.

As little as possible, overpriced rip-off

But in saying that there's the post round drink on each occasion and about half the time some lunch as well

I reckon around 1800-2400 - some of that in the pro shop, maybe 300 - 500. Plus a few taxis home when there is no lift on offer and a few to get the car again the next day if I can't be bothered to walk!
